Point of View
One of the closest dinner restaurants to our cabin, is Point of View. It's a quick 3 mile drive from the cabin, and has one of the most gorgeous views of Lake Lure. To enjoy the best view, you will need to be seated at a table next to the windows facing the lake. Availability for those seats is often on a first come, first served basis. So call ahead to see if they will allow those tables to be reserved; if not, then arrive shortly after the doors open. The menu offers a variety of chicken, veal, beef, and seafood dishes. This restaurant in Lake Lure is most known for their Prime Rib, and pan fried Mountain Trout with toasted almonds. On Mondays and Tuesdays the Prime Rib and Trout are on special.
